The summer is all about swimming and swim wear. Whether you are wearing a swim suit to swim, surf, or just lay out, getting a swim suit that is activity appropriate and that works well for your body is important to enjoying your summer and feeling confident and happy in your swimwear. The following are some of the swimsuit styles for the summer:
Bikini
The classic swimsuit style for most girls for the summer is the bikini. A bikini is basically skimpy little triangles with side tie bottoms. They can come in a wide variety of prints, colors, and the like. They can have push up bras, underwire, or sculpting to help give you a little more curves. A bikini is really little, so it is best to have a small body if you are going to wear one. Bikinis are a great style for the super skinny and long leg girls, generally with small chests, as the triangles do not usually cover a whole lot.
Tankini
This is a great summer swimsuit style because it has a longer top, which makes it a bit sportier, so it is good for things like surfing, and playing in the water, as it is less likely to move around, and will keep you covered. It still shows some stomach, which is great, because it is still sexy while being sporty.
There are different styles for every body shape. Have fun with it.
Bandini
A bandini is a great swimsuit for someone who wants to wear a bikini, but wants to have a little more support for your breasts. Basically it is bottoms and then the top is a strip of material, or a band, that can have a tie in the center, or just be a single band across the breasts. It is a little more supportive for people who have bigger boobs, and needs a bit more fabric and support, but also want to wear something that shows off some skin.
Camikini
This is a tankini that looks like a tank or camisole. So it does not have triangles, it might have some kind of shelf bra, but is shaped more along the lines of the sport top that you might wear to play tennis or something.
Boy leg
A boy leg suit is a swim suit with a halter top, or a bikini top, or a sport bra top that has really short shorts as the bottoms. Instead of brief type bottoms, it is like boxers, only shorter. They are called boy bottoms because they are not cut up the hips, rather into shorts. They can make looks look shorter, but are really flattering, and can hide unsightly bumps or hair growth.
One piece
Of course another option is a one-piece suit. These can be slenderizing, can hide stretch marks and the like, and can be a lot of fun to wear. They come in cuts that are high on the hips, or that are lower, and have a variety of necklines, so you can find something that flatters your body.
Regardless of the cut, you want something that has a nice print, something bold and fun that fits your personality. You should also choose a color that flatters your skin tone. A classic color that looks good on just about everyone is black. Another thing you may want to consider is detailing. Swimwear that has ruffles, smocking, lace, buttons, flowers, belts, and the like will always be fun and flattering.

A swimsuit is the swimsuit of my choice. I have large breast and need all the support I can get.
